I won’t ever boss you around
Are you worried about being told what to do when you hire a graphic designer?
Me too. Yes, I have this worry too, always! Whenever I hire anyone to help me with my business, my first and biggest worry is that they wont be aligned with my values.
And that they’ll tell me to do something that is not at all “me”. Or create something for me that is not my jam and then tell me why it is right for me, and why they know better. Without giving me a choice.
Is this your worry too?

If this is you, my instinct is to immediately get up in your grill and plead: “TRUST MEEEEE I will never ever boss you around!” but this invasive pleading is not enough I don’t think, is it? 😂
So here are some reasons to back me up:
I ask lots of questions and listen to everything you say. Intently! I try and get into your brain as much as I can.
I take all your opinions, tastes, likes/dislikes on board. All of this is gold to me!
When you tell me you are not into anything, it is gone-ski! Disappeared. Nudda. It doesn’t matter how I feel about it, even if it was my fave. This is YOUR business.
I will never do something you have asked me not to do. NEVER.
If you don’t like something I create for you, please know this is absolutely normal and ok! Design is very subjective. I listen to all your feedback and adjust what we do from then on.
If there’s ever something you want to do that I am not totally sold on (doesn’t happen often), I will let you know this, and always explain my logical reasons why, but I will never get my bossy boots on and say “mmm, not up in here!”
This is your business we are working on, not mine. I am along for the journey, and will be your gentle guide, but I will never tell you I know better than you!
The final decision is always yours. ALWAYS. Final.
