I am a brand & web designer, and small biz owners & solo-preneurs are my fave people to work with. Because I am you, so I get it.

I love giving whole-hearted small business owners the confidence & clarity to show up in the world as their amazing, true, authentic, brilliant selves, and grow their amazing business at the same time.

I have travelled my own journey of self doubt & imposter-syndrome, and I will always be a work in progress. But once I got out of my own very self-critical way & started believing in myself, I started to see things change for the better, in my personal life & business.

So something that brings me a lot of JOY is helping others see a side of their amazing selves, that they may not have seen before.

The build of your new “home”

OK OK, stay with me! No, we are not building an actual house. But let’s pretend we are for a second, but your brand is the home - and think of me as your project manager.

Build

We understand the goals of your new home, then pour the concrete foundation and build the bones.

I send you a fun questionnaire to dig out all the beauty of your business. From there I start building your “Brand Plan” - which is the strategy that forms the beautiful foundation for everything we do after.

This is no small step. This is possibly the most important step - and the one that leaves you with the most wonderful clarity.

Make cozy

We add your choice of paint colour, then add the furniture, fluffy rugs & cozy cushions to make it feel like home.

Once we have your strategy nailed, I start working on your visual brand, with lots of check in’s to make sure we are collaborating all the way.

At every stage you are presented with different options for you to choose from - you are in the drivers seat.

Move in

You get to move in to your new home! But you have me on speed dial when you can’t find the light switches.

When your visual brand is complete, I wrap everything up in a lovely welcome-to-your-new-home fruit basket, with your Brand Consistency roadmap as your BFF.

We then have as many post-project zoom support calls as you need, and I will love being on speed dial.

  • A wildly wholesome brand strategy process which involves a 30+ page document that I call your “Brand Plan” that unpacks all the wonderful things about your business. We don’t just skip over this bit.

    This is very in-depth & includes comprehensive information about your brand heart, brand positioning, your brand personality, your target audience, and the brand experience. I also give suggestions on messaging, tone of voice, and how to surprise and delight your audience. My hope? That this brand strategy will bring you overwhelming clarity, as well as motivate you & inspire you - to see your beautiful brand for everything that it is.

  • A beautiful visual brand identity that gives you everything you need to show up in a consistent & polished way.

    This is usually hand-crafted uniquely for every brand, so it is different every time - but you will most definitely get your own unique logo in various layouts for flexibility, a beautiful colour palette referencing colour psychology, a custom-built typography system, as well as your very own icons, illustrations, and a pattern or two, if it suits your brand. If it works for your unique brand, we also chat about monograms & taglines.

  • You also get your very own custom-designed social media templates in Canva, for you to re-use over & over again.

  • Your own Brand Consistency guide, which includes lots of tips and tricks to stay consistent with your brand.

I hear you!

  • Who does have their shit sorted? Not me! Trust me, you will be right at home with me. We go through everything together & I help you all the way.

  • I completely understand this and I will do everything I can to help. However I often have a few projects going at once, and may have some lovely clients booked in for future dates also. BUT as a recovering people-pleaser, I am always open to chatting about your situation and seeing what we can work out!

  • The Wholehearted Brand is ideal for people who already have an established business - but definitely works for new businesses too.

  • I hear you. Colour is not everyone's thing & can be too much sometimes. Especially if your particular industry is predominantly very beige-y and muted. Colour is definitely my jam, but I have worked on many brands when a lot of colour wasnt aligned to the strategy, and I coped surprisingly well actually ;)

    So get in touch and let's chat. I am all about collaboration: if you like my style but not into colour, that is a-ok, I am here for it.

  • Ah I love fonts and I can waste hours perusing them. However...... I am all about making brands look unique & authentic, so they will stand out to their audience. If we use a font for your logo, that means that anyone else out there can use the same font & you may have a long-lost twin! (Sad face) I also LOVE hand lettering, so most of my logos are hand crafted just for you & your audience in mind. Probably crafted for many lovely hours. This means that you won't have anyone out there with the same logo, and you will carve your own meaningful place in a crowded, over-stimulated digital world.

  • I feel this deeply. And I see you! I wish I could say I can take away ALL your overwhelm but that would be a big enormous lie.

    But when it comes to your business overwhelm, I find the source of it for me is often a lack of clarity. When you dig deep and build the foundations of your biz, you find that beautiful clarity. And your confidence in yourself & your biz soars, and suddenly things don't feel so hard.

    Decisions are easier, marketing is easier, social media is easier. You know your brand voice and you know who you are talking to, so it comes naturally now. The overthinking starts to shush. The nightly-lying-awake-wonderment is happening much less. AH.

    In terms of overwhelm outside of business - well this is a different story! I have my own strategies of managing this which I am always very happy to share - but I am certainly no expert, and always a work in progress :}

  • Collaboration is a hefty pillar of mine. This is a joint effort, and I take the job of creating something wonderful for you pretty seriously - I see it as my responsibility to be your project manager, guide, and creator, but you are in the drivers seat. We are always better together.

    Also, design is super subjective. I welcome all the feedback always, and will never take this personally.

  • I hear you. And sometimes, a nice logo might do the trick. But if you have had your biz for a few years and you want to grow your amazing biz, you need more than a nice logo. You need to work on the foundations of your business, as well as a logo. You can read more on my blog over here!

  • Great question! I allow 6 lovely weeks for this journey. However, each journey is a little different, and there are many variables which can change this timeline. I can explain more about this when we chat. And if you are in a hurry, I always consider this and do everything I can to help.
